Phra Upakut, from Thai Buddhist mythology, is a benevolent deity who protects against all evils and physical harm and is an auspicious attractor of wealth. The Garuda is a mythological beast of the Hindu and Buddhist tradition. According to Hindu mythology, the Garuda is the vahana (vehicle) of the god Vishnu (Narayana).
